The city

What to expect from Morro do Pilar.

Morro do Pilar includes the Igreja Nossa Senhora do Pilar, built on the heights of the town, and the ruins of the Real Fábrica de Ferro, which record its industrial history. On the Caminho dos Diamantes, the urban landscape gives way to the hills and the Andorinha and Naná waterfalls. Handicrafts made from indaiá straw are also part of the local identity.
