What this service is

Cidade Turismo is a destination guide and a set of services for hotels and guesthouses, run by MX Tecnologia e Gestão. By using the website or the app, you agree to these terms.

What this service is not

We are not a travel agency or a tour operator. We don't sell tickets, tours or accommodation, and we don't handle payments between you and any business. When you book something with a hotel, restaurant or operator, the agreement is between the two of you.

About the information

We work to keep the guide accurate, and even so it may contain mistakes: an attraction that closes, opening hours that change, a road that is blocked, a price that goes up. Before you travel, check at the source: with the business, with the park authority, with the city hall.

The pictures of the destinations are editorial images generated by artificial intelligence, based on the description of the place. They set the tone of the landscape and are not a photographic record of the attraction. Wherever there is a real photo of a business, it is labeled as such.

We are not liable for losses arising from decisions made based solely on the guide.

Your account

You can read the guide without an account. An account lets you save destinations, cities and attractions, gathered in My account, and "like" destinations, cities and attractions. People who "liked" something appear in circles next to the button: to signed-in users, with their photo and first name; to visitors, only with their initials.

The account is personal. You are responsible for your password and for what happens with it; if you suspect someone has found it out, change it and let us know.

You can delete your account whenever you want, in My account. Along with it, we delete your saved places and your "likes".

We may suspend an account that uses the service for fraud, to harm other people or to try to breach the system.

Content

The texts, design and images of the guide are ours or used with permission. You may read them, share the link and quote an excerpt citing the source. Copying the whole guide to another website is not allowed.

Hotels and guesthouses

Those who hire the management tool have their own conditions, agreed upon in a specific contract. The data the business registers belongs to it, and it is responsible for that data, including keeping prices and availability up to date.

Changes and governing law

These terms may change; the date above shows the latest version. Relevant changes are announced by email to account holders. Brazilian law applies, and the courts of the district of Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro, are chosen as the venue.
