About Praia de Coqueirinho
Praia de Coqueirinho (beach) is in Conde, on the Costa do Conde, on the south coast of Paraíba. It is a rounded cove surrounded by coconut palms, forest and colorful cliffs, and it often appears on lists of the state's most beautiful beaches.
At low tide, the reefs form natural pools of calm, clear water, good for swimming. Beyond them, the sea alternates between calm stretches and others with bigger waves. Coconut palms shade much of the shoreline.
The clifftops hold viewpoints overlooking the cove and the more deserted stretch to the north, as well as the Cânion de Coqueirinho (canyon), with sandstone and clay walls in many colors. At low tide, you can walk along the sand to neighboring Praia de Tabatinga.
The beach shacks, with chairs and umbrellas for rent, are concentrated on one stretch of the beach; the rest is quieter. On weekends and holidays it gets much busier.
