About Itaipuland Thermas Park
Itaipuland Thermas Park is a thermal water park in Itaipulândia, in western Paraná, near Lago de Itaipu. The complex includes the park and a resort, in an area of more than 250,000 square meters.
The highlight is the pools filled with natural hot water, some covered and others outdoors. The warm water makes the park a good outing in the cold months too.
Besides the thermal pools, there are water slides of various kinds, a wave pool, a kids' area and places to relax. The themed area Mundo do Dino is designed for children.
It is an outing for families and for anyone who wants to spend the day in the water. There are restaurants and snack bars on site, a first-aid station and lifeguards.

Best time
On hot summer days, to enjoy the water slides and outdoor pools; in winter, the covered thermal pools are the best option. Arrive early, at opening, for shorter lines at the rides.
How to get there
It is in Itaipulândia, in western Paraná. From Foz do Iguaçu, take the BR-277 to São Miguel do Iguaçu and then follow the signs to Itaipulândia and Praia de Jacutinga. Access is by car, tour bus or private transportation; there is on-site parking.
Tip
Bring sunscreen, flip-flops and a change of clothes. Check opening hours and days on the official website before you leave, especially outside the season.
