About Praia do Madeiro
Praia do Madeiro is between Pipa and the town of Tibau do Sul (RN), at the foot of vegetation-covered cliffs and surrounded by coconut palms. The sea is emerald green and the water is warm.
It is one of the beaches with the most facilities in the region, with several stalls on the sand. The southern corner, right next to Baía dos Golfinhos, is the calmest and the busiest. There are surf lessons for beginners and stand-up paddleboard and kayak rentals.
Dolphins show up here too, especially in the early morning, and sometimes you can see them while walking on the sand.
The way down is by a long staircase on the cliff. Going down is easy, but the climb back up is tiring and not recommended for people with limited mobility. At low tide, you can walk along the sand to Baía dos Golfinhos.

Early in the morning, when the sea is usually calmer and the chance of seeing dolphins is higher; at low tide to walk to Baía dos Golfinhos.
How to get there
It is about 4 km from downtown Pipa, on the road that links Pipa to Tibau do Sul. Go by car, taxi or bus; there is parking near the top of the staircase. At low tide, you can also walk along the sand from Baía dos Golfinhos.
Tip
Arrive early, before mid-morning: the beach is emptier and the dolphins usually show up at that time.
