Praia do Barro Vermelho is on the coast of Paulino Neves, in Maranhão, on the stretch of the Rota das Emoções between the Lençóis Maranhenses and the Delta do Parnaíba. It's one of the most popular beaches in the municipality.
It has a long, wide strip of sand facing the open sea, with waves and a broad tidal zone. The atmosphere is quiet, and the wind farm towers appear in the landscape near the beach.
