About Rio Triste

Rio Triste is a crystal-clear river that runs through the Fazenda Água Branca (farm), in the district of Marzagão, in Rosário Oeste. The tour is sold along with the Nobres attractions, because it is near the Vila de Bom Jardim, the region's ecotourism base, but the river is in Rosário Oeste territory.

The highlight is the float: with a life vest, mask and snorkel, you drift down the river with the current, face in the water, accompanied by guides. The stretch covered is about one kilometer.

Along the way you see aquatic plants, limestone formations on the riverbed and lots of fish; the operator says more than 30 species. It is a good place to see dourados, and stingrays sometimes appear, which you must not touch or step on.

Equipment and guides are included in the tour, and there are lockers for your belongings. The minimum age is 6, and children go with their parents.
