About Rio Sucuri

The Rio Sucuri is famous for having some of the clearest water in Brazil. The snorkeling float takes place on a ranch about 20 km from downtown Bonito and is one of the most popular in the region.

The activity begins with a short trail through the riverside forest, passing springs with observation decks. Then, in a wetsuit, life jacket and mask, you drift slowly down the river, carried by the current, for about 1.8 km.

Underwater there is a garden of green aquatic plants and many fish, with visibility of several meters. You do not need to know how to swim: the life jacket keeps you on the surface and the guides accompany the group.

The tour is relaxed and suits almost all ages. The main building has a restaurant, changing rooms and a rest area for spending the rest of the day.
