About Cachoeira de Santa Luzia

Cachoeira de Santa Luzia (waterfall) is considered the most famous and most visited in Afonso Cláudio, in the Espírito Santo mountains. It is in the rural area, a few minutes from downtown, on the long-established Breda family farm.

The highlight is the main fall, tall and with a large volume of water. Near it, the roar of the water echoes among the rocks and the mist cools you off as you arrive.

Below the fall, the river runs among rocks and forms rapids and pools where visitors swim. The surroundings are forested, with shade along the way.

The path to the waterfall has rocks and slippery stretches, and calls for care. It is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Keep children close at all times, especially at the water's edge.
