About Beto Carrero World
Beto Carrero World is a large theme park in Penha, on the northern coast of Santa Catarina. It is considered the largest park of its kind in Latin America and draws families from all over Brazil.
The park opened on December 28, 1991. It was created by the performer and businessman João Batista Sérgio Murad, known as Beto Carrero, who began his career in the circus and became famous in film and television. He died in 2008, and the park still bears his name.
You enter through a large castle with pointed towers, which has become the park's signature image. Inside, the park is divided into themed areas, with roller coasters, kids' rides, thrill rides and live shows throughout the day.
There are attractions for all ages, from small children to thrill-seeking teenagers. Distances inside are long and you walk a lot, mostly outdoors. There is an admission fee, and passes and the rules for each attraction are on the official website.

It is in Penha, on the northern coast of Santa Catarina, with access via the BR-101. The nearest airport is Navegantes; Florianópolis is about 114 km away. If you travel by bus, there are bus stations in nearby towns such as Piçarras, Navegantes and Itajaí.
Tip
Check the show schedule as soon as you enter and arrive early at the most popular ones to get a good spot. Wear light clothing, sunscreen and comfortable shoes.
