The water comes down in small falls between rocks and forms a calm pool, good for swimming. The setting is simple and surrounded by forest, suitable for families, children and seniors.

The trail is short and easy. The property has facilities for camping and regional-food lunches on request, and it has also been noted for producing rapadura (brown sugar blocks), molasses and fruit pulp.

Practical information

How much time to set aside

One to two hours is enough to walk down the trail, swim in the pool and come back at an easy pace.

Best time

In the dry season, from May to September, the dirt road is easier and the water clearer; go in late morning or early afternoon, with sun on the pool. Avoid going right after heavy rain.

How to get there

It's about 6 km from the center of Teresina de Goiás. Take GO-118 toward Alto Paraíso and turn left onto a dirt road of less than 1 km to the property. The last stretch can be rough for low-clearance cars, especially after rain. There's no public transportation.

Tip

Before you go, check with the property whether the waterfall is open and whether lunch must be ordered ahead; combine the visit with the nearby Cachoeira Três Corações.
