When to go
April to October is the cruise and more frequent-ferry season. In the cooler months the place is quieter, with the museum open and fewer visitors.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
No. The Dockyard is walkable, and ferries and buses connect it to the rest of the island. Taxis, electric minicars and scooters are available for rent near the piers.
