When to go
May to October for beach and snorkeling. In March and April, to try to see humpback whales from the cliffs. In winter, for walking the trails in mild air.

Do you need a car?
No. South Road buses stop near the beaches and the lighthouse. Electric minicabs and scooters make it easy to combine several beaches in one day.
