The festival

What is Tomorrowland

Tomorrowland has taken place since 2005 at the De Schorre provincial recreational domain in Boom, Antwerp province. The first edition lasted a single day; due to ticket demand, the festival expanded to occupy two three-day weekends on the last two weekends of July.

The festival is known for its production design: the main stage changes theme each edition and rises in a natural amphitheater in the park, while dozens of smaller themed stages spread among lakes and woods. The lineup features DJs and producers across styles of electronic music, from house to techno.

The park retains permanent marks of the festival, like the One World Bridge and sculptures installed over the years, which can be seen outside the event season. Beside the site is DreamVille, the official camping area.

The festival was registered on the intangible cultural heritage inventory of Flanders for what it represents to the community of attendees and artists built around it.
