Approximate distances. Check flights and bus, train or boat schedules before you travel.
If you arrive at Kulusuk airport you continue by helicopter, a flight of a few minutes, or, in summer when there is no ice, by boat. There is no road between the two.
How many days
Two or three days allow you to see the town, the museum and the Valley of Flowers and to take a boat trip to the Sermilik fjord.
When to go
From July to September, for boats, hikes and the Valley of Flowers. In spring, between March and May, the days lengthen and the snow allows sledding, skiing and snowmobiling.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
No. The center is compact and very hilly; you walk around on foot, and there are taxis.
