How many days
One day is enough for the settlement, the church and a walk; many visitors come from Iceland on day trips. With an overnight stay you can fit a boat trip among the icebergs.
When to go
From June to September, when boats operate and the drum dance is presented to groups. In winter and spring there are sleds and snowmobiles on the ice.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
No. The settlement and the airport are connected by a dirt road that you can walk.
