How many days

Two days are enough to see the center, the sculptures and the museum, and to take the boat trip to Hvalsey. With three days, you can also visit the Uunartoq hot springs.

When to go

From June to September, boats are frequent, trails are open, and the southern fields are green. In winter, boat services decrease and ice can hinder navigation in spring.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

No. The town is explored on foot, with hills, and there are taxis. There is transport and taxis to the airport.
