How many days

One day allows for Taliesin West in the morning and Old Town in the afternoon. Many visitors stay in Scottsdale and visit Phoenix from there.

When to go

From October to April, when the weather is usually mild and dry, it is the season for art and golf events. In summer the heat is intense and programming decreases.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

Helpful tip. Old Town is explored on foot, and a tourist trolley circles it, but Taliesin West and the McDowell mountain trails are about 20 km away and do not have direct public transport.
