The city
Second-largest city in Kentucky, in the heart of the Bluegrass region, known as the world’s horse capital. Surrounding it, hundreds of breeding farms raise Thoroughbreds among pastures and wooden fences. The Kentucky Horse Park, the Keeneland racetrack and the home of politician Henry Clay are among the sights; distilleries such as Woodford Reserve are about a half hour away.
