About The Momentary
The Momentary is the contemporary art arm of Crystal Bridges, housed in a 1940s cheese factory southeast of downtown Bentonville. The industrial building was renovated and now features large galleries, a theater and a tower with city views.
Programming changes throughout the year: visual art exhibitions, installations, music and dance performances, films and workshops. The venue hosts artists in residence and festivals with outdoor shows on the lawn.
At the top of the tower, a bar with a terrace offers views of the woods and the downtown. The ground-floor courtyard and café are local gathering spots.
The center is about 2 km from Crystal Bridges, and the two are connected by a trail and by museum transport.
