The city

What to expect from Chuí.

Chuí is the southernmost Brazilian town, at the end of BR-471, right next to the Uruguayan town of Chuy: a boulevard with a central median separates the two countries, with shops on both sides. Separated from Santa Vitória do Palmar in the 1990s, it is the gateway to Barra do Chuí, to the Uruguayan side and to those continuing overland into Uruguay.
