About Astwood Park
Astwood Park occupies the cliff tops on Warwick’s South Shore, east of Warwick Long Bay. Lawns with picnic tables end at the cliff edge, offering wide views over the ocean and the reef line.
A steep trail with steps cut into the rock descends to Astwood Cove, a small, secluded beach surrounded by cliffs. Because access is difficult and there are no services, the beach is usually empty, but the sea there can be strong and there are rocks in the water.
The park is popular for outdoor weddings and for watching the sunset. Longtails, long-tailed seabirds that return to Bermuda in spring, nest on the cliffs.
