How many days

Two days let you see Pike Place Market, the waterfront, the Seattle Center and Pioneer Square. With a third day you can add the Museum of Flight and a ferry trip to Bainbridge.

When to go

From July to September the weather is usually stable, with long days and temperatures between 20 °C and 27 °C. From October to April light rain is frequent and the sky stays cloudy for weeks, but the city’s museums and markets remain open. Snow in downtown is rare.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

No. The Link runs from the airport to downtown, the monorail reaches the Seattle Center, and buses serve the neighborhoods. Downtown parking is expensive and scarce; rent a car only to leave the city.
