How many days

When to go

In summer, June through September, the road to Hurricane Ridge is open daily and there is less rain. In winter the town has mild temperatures, but the mountain gets snow and the road only opens on some days.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

Yes, to get around the park, which has few bus lines and long distances between areas. In summer there is a special route to Hurricane Ridge. Drive on the right.
