About Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Six Flags Fiesta Texas is located northwest of San Antonio in a former limestone quarry, with stone cliffs surrounding the park. It opened in the 1990s and features themed areas inspired by Texas, Mexican and German culture.
The park is known for its roller coasters, such as the Iron Rattler, a steel‑track coaster on a wooden structure that dives off the quarry rim, and the Wonder Woman Golden Lasso. There are also family rides, a children’s area with cartoon characters and shows throughout the day. In summer, the Fiesta Texas water park, with waterslides and a wave pool, is usually included with the same admission.
The season runs from spring until the end of the year, with variable operating days and special Halloween and year‑end programming.
