The city
One of the largest cities in Texas, founded by the Spanish in 1718. The downtown has the River Walk, a pedestrian riverside promenade, the Alamo, the Cathedral of San Fernando and the Market Square market, and to the south are the Spanish missions listed by UNESCO.
