How to get there

  • Nashville International Airport (BNA) Nashville · 13 km

Approximate distances. Check flights and bus, train or boat schedules before you travel.

BNA airport is about 13 km from downtown, with buses and taxis. Interstates I‑40, I‑65 and I‑24 intersect in the city. The downtown area and Broadway are walkable; the Opry House is about 15 km away.

How many days

Two days for Broadway, the museums and a show at the Opry; three days to include the Parthenon and the neighborhoods at a relaxed pace.

When to go

From spring through fall there are shows every night; April, May, September and October tend to have the nicest weather. In June, the country music festival fills the city.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

In downtown, no: Broadway, the Ryman and the museum are close to each other. For the Opry House and Centennial Park, use a taxi, ride‑share app or car. In Tennessee, drive on the right.
