How many days

One day is enough to see the campus, the art gallery and the Beinecke. With two days you can add the Peabody Museum and the Center for British Art at a relaxed pace.

When to go

Spring and autumn, when the campus is full and temperatures are mild. Summer is hot and humid, usually between 25 °C and 30 °C, with the university quieter. Winter is cold and can bring snow; the museums operate year-round with their own schedules.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

No. The campus, museums and the center are walked on foot, and the train station has city buses and taxis to the center. Drive on the right.
