About High Roller
The High Roller sits at the end of a shopping-and-restaurant promenade in the center of the Strip and opened in 2014 as the tallest Ferris wheel in the world. It’s about 167 meters high and has 28 enclosed glass cabins with air conditioning that hold several people standing or seated.
A full rotation lasts about 30 minutes and moves slowly enough that you hardly feel it. From the top you can see the whole Strip, hotel rooftops, the airport and the valley ringed by the Spring Mountains to the west. At dusk you can watch the city shift from daylight to night lights.
There are cabins with bar service for ages 21 and over, and cabins reserved for groups. Tickets are sold for specific time slots, with different prices for day and night.
It’s a relaxed activity, good for those who want to grasp the size of the Strip without going up a tower.
