What to expect from Boulder City.
A small town planned in the 1930s for the Hoover Dam workers, about 40 km from Las Vegas. It has a quiet historic center with buildings from the dam’s construction era and is the base for visiting the dam on the Arizona border and the beaches and marinas of Lake Mead.
