About Nevada Beach
Nevada Beach is on the southeast shore of Lake Tahoe, a few kilometers north of Stateline, in a U.S. Forest Service area. The sandy stretch is nearly 1 km long and is bordered by pines, with picnic tables and a campground next to it.
The view faces the mountains on the lake’s west shore, such as Mount Tallac, across the water. Tahoe’s water is very clear and cold even in summer, and the bottom slopes gradually near the sand.
The beach is the natural endpoint of the Lam Watah trail, which comes from Rabe Meadow. In summer it fills up on weekends; out of season services are reduced, but walking along the sand is still possible.
