About Hot Springs Mountain Tower
Hot Springs Mountain Tower sits atop the mountain that gives the park its name, above Bathhouse Row. At 66 meters high, it has an enclosed observation level and an open-air deck at the top, reached by elevator.
From the top you can see the town nestled in the valley, the bathhouses below, Hamilton and Ouachita lakes and the ridges of the Ouachita Mountains. On clear days the view extends for dozens of kilometers. The lower level has panels about the town’s and the springs’ history.
The road that leads up to the tower passes overlooks and trailheads for park hikes. It is also possible to hike up on trails that start at the Grand Promenade.
In autumn, when the mountain trees change color, the tower is especially popular.
