The city
What to expect from Sandusky.
Port city on Sandusky Bay on Lake Erie, between Cleveland and Toledo. It is the base for Cedar Point, an amusement park on a peninsula with a lakeside beach, and for the Cedar Point Shores water park. The downtown area by the bay has 19th-century stone houses and docks with ferries to Kelleys Island and to the islands in Lake Erie.
