About Bermuda Arboretum
The Bermuda Arboretum is in the parish of Devonshire, a few kilometers east of downtown Hamilton, between Middle Road and Montpelier Road. It is a government-maintained park with open lawns, wooded areas and a small lake.
The trees come from many parts of the world and coexist with Bermuda native species such as Bermuda cedar and Bermuda palmetto. Dirt paths circle the grounds and are used by locals for walking and running.
It is a quiet place with no commercial facilities, a green pause between the city and the eastern parishes. Nearby, also in Devonshire, are Palmetto Park and the Devonshire marsh wetland.
