How many days
One day covers the cathedral, the Malmundarium and the centre. With two days you can include the Hautes Fagnes and the Signal de Botrange.
When to go
The town centre and the Malmundarium can be visited year-round. For the Hautes Fagnes, spring, summer and autumn are usually better for walking; in winter there can be snow on the plateau. The Cwarmê takes over the town in the last days before Lent.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
Practical tips. There are buses to neighbouring towns, with few departures, and the centre is walkable. To go up to the Hautes Fagnes, having a car is useful.
