About SEA LIFE Minnesota Aquarium
SEA LIFE Minnesota Aquarium is located on the lower level of the Mall of America and showcases freshwater and marine animals in several habitats, from Minnesota’s lakes and rivers to tropical reefs.
The most visited feature is the roughly 90-meter glass tunnel where visitors walk beneath sharks, rays, sea turtles and schools of fish. There is also a touch tank with starfish and other animals, illuminated jellyfish displays, and an area with rainforest fish.
Throughout the day, keepers present feedings of some animals and talk about ocean and river conservation. Because it is inside the Mall of America, the aquarium is open every day, and a visit can be combined with the amusement park and the mall’s shops.
