About Nickelodeon Universe

Nickelodeon Universe occupies the central atrium of the Mall of America under a glass roof, and it is the largest indoor amusement park in the United States, covering about 3 hectares. It opened with the mall in 1992 with a different theme and began using Nickelodeon characters in 2008.

There are about 25 rides, including five roller coasters, such as the SpongeBob SquarePants Rock Bottom Plunge, which features a beyond-vertical drop, as well as spinning rides, a log flume, and play areas for young children featuring SpongeBob, Paw Patrol and other characters. Because it is indoors, it operates every day, regardless of cold or heat.

There is no general admission fee for the park: you pay per ride with credits, or you can buy a wristband for unlimited rides for the day, which is the option for those who plan to stay several hours.
