About Dollywood's Splash Country
Dollywood’s Splash Country opened in 2001 next to Dollywood, in a wooded area in the hills of Pigeon Forge. Attractions were fitted to the terrain, with trees and shaded spots between pools.
There are slides for various ages, including family raft rides, an artificial wave pool, a lazy river and shallow play areas for small children. Cabanas are available to rent and there are food kiosks.
Admission is separate from Dollywood, with combined options available, and parking is separate as well. The season runs from mid-May to mid-September, with hours that change over the summer.
