About Robanov kot
Robanov kot is one of the three glacial valleys of Solčava, running parallel to the Logar Valley and to its southeast. It is smaller and quieter, with open meadows, woods and some traditional farms scattered along the way, beneath the cliffs of Ojstrica and Krofička.
The valley is protected as a park and preserves the region’s traditional landscape, with wooden fences, barns and pastures. Visits are on foot, along marked paths, and park rules limit motor vehicle and bicycle traffic outside permitted roads. A trail leads to the valley floor and continues to the huts and peaks around.

How much time to set aside

Best time
From June to September, when the meadows are green and the trails are free of snow. In autumn, the beeches change color.
How to get there
The valley entrance is next to the main Savinja road, between Luče and Solčava, a few kilometers from Solčava. Confirm access and parking rules at the Rinka visitor center.
Tip
Come early and walk to the valley floor: the open meadows and surrounding cliffs look best in the morning light.
