About Percé Geopark

The Percé Geopark was recognized by UNESCO as a global geopark because of the variety of rocks and fossils that tell hundreds of millions of years of Earth history within a small area around the village.

At the center, the interpretation pavilion presents this geology in an accessible way. The most sought-after attraction is the suspended platform at the top of mont Sainte-Anne, with a glass floor, about 200 meters above sea level, offering views of the village, the Rocher Percé and Bonaventure Island from above. A trail and a geopark shuttle provide access to the summit.

The geopark has other trails that pass viewpoints, caves and rock formations. It opens in the summer and fall seasons; check dates and current fees.
