About Werchter Festival Park
The Werchter Festivalpark is along the Haachtsesteenweg in the locality of Werchter, municipality of Rotselaar. At about 24 hectares, it is the site where Rock Werchter has taken place since the festival moved from the location used for its first edition nearby.
The park was completely renovated and finished in 2018, with drainage installed to avoid the mud that marked earlier editions. Outside festival days the grounds are open to the public, who can walk, cycle and picnic on the lawn where the main stage is erected.
For music fans, the visit shows the scale of the place that hosts international artists every summer. The surroundings are rural, with fields and the Dijle and Demer valleys, good for following by bicycle.
On setup and event days access is restricted; check before you go.
