The festival
Rock in Rio is one of Brazil’s largest music festivals. In recent editions, Cidade do Rock has been set up in the Olympic Park in Barra da Tijuca, with several stages, food areas, and attractions during the day and night.
The lineup includes names from rock, pop, Brazilian music, and other genres, spread across different days. Each day has its own ticket.
Tickets usually sell out shortly after they go on sale; follow the official channels. To get there, use the special transport arranged by the organizers: private car access to Cidade do Rock is restricted.
On festival days, demand for accommodation in Barra da Tijuca and nearby areas is high. Book in advance.
