About Anin dvor

Anin dvor, “Ana’s court,” is Rogaška Slatina’s cultural center and museum, in a modern building on Cvetlični hrib hill, near the spa park. The name honors Saint Anne, the town’s patron. The center houses an event hall and the collections that tell the town’s history in one place.

There are five themed collections. The glass collection shows the region’s tradition, which produced glass in forest kilns and evolved to the cut crystal of the town’s factory, with a film about the process. The prints collection gathers old views of Rogaška Slatina donated by Swiss collector Kurt Müller. A curious collection assembled by local researcher Nani Poljanec preserves letters, photographs, bottles and autographs of famous spa visitors.

The other two collections deal with the town’s parks and trees and with the mineral waters, featuring an exhibit about water. The museum also keeps the original statue of Saint John of Nepomuk, whose copy stands in the park.

A full visit complements a walk through the spa park and the Pivnica.
