How many days

Half a day is enough for the Colonnade Bridge, the island and the museum. A full day allows for a boat trip or a walk along the Váh riverbank. Those coming for spa treatment usually stay one or more weeks.

When to go

From spring to autumn, when the parks and island are green and it’s possible to stroll by the river. Summer is usually hot and sunny. Treatments continue throughout the winter, the quietest season.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

No. The centre, the bridge and the island can be explored on foot or by bicycle, and there are buses from the station to the centre. A car only matters for trips to the castles in the Váh valley.
