When to go

From April to October the park boats run more frequently, including those going to Visovac and the Krka monastery. July and August are hot and busy. Outside the season the town is quiet and some park boat services do not operate; check before you go.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

Not for the center and for the park boats, which depart from the quay. A car is helpful to reach Roški slap and the Krka monastery by road, which are farther away, and to combine the visit with Šibenik.
