The city
Small town on the banks of the Krka River, about 20 km from Šibenik, at the entrance to Krka National Park. The old town around Trg Male Gospe square has narrow streets and stone houses, and on the hilltop are the ruins of Turina Fortress. Boats of the park depart from the quay upriver, and from Skradin you can reach the Visovac island monastery, Roški slap and the Krka monastery. The town is known for skradinski rižot.
