About Le Massif de Charlevoix
Le Massif de Charlevoix is the ski mountain with the largest vertical drop in eastern Canada, about 770 meters. It is in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, between Baie-Saint-Paul and Quebec City, and many runs descend the slope directly toward the St. Lawrence, which remains in view for much of the descent.
The base of the mountain sits high on the plateau, and lifts bring skiers back from the riverfront. There are runs for all levels, off-piste areas and a toboggan run. In summer the slopes offer hiking and mountain biking trails.
In winter, a train links the riverfront to the base of the runs on some days. The ski season depends on snowfall; check current dates and schedules.
