About Region of the Lakes

The Lakes Region is a series of ornamental lakes fed by the Aleixo Stream, surrounded by wide walkways, a bike lane and green areas. It is where residents walk, ride and spend the late afternoon.

The park has kiosks, a playground, outdoor fitness equipment and decks, and some areas allow fishing. The lakeside can be walked in a short time.

For visitors to Barretos, it is the simplest place to see local everyday life, away from the bustle of the Parque do Peão.

Late afternoon, with low light over the water and people moving about, is the most pleasant time. During the Cowboy Festival the park also receives visitors looking for a break between rodeo nights.
