About Roški Waterfall
Roški slap is located on the middle section of the Krka River, above Lake Visovac, inside Krka National Park. The site begins with a series of small cascades and rapids that locals called ogrlice, the necklaces, and ends in a wider fall where the river descends in several channels.
On the banks are old watermills and stone structures where fabrics were washed and beaten, part of the rural life tied to the river. A trail crosses the ogrlice and passes by these mills, with views of the cascades.
Roški slap can be visited year-round. You can reach it by car via roads from Drniš, Knin and Skradin, or by the park boat trip that departs Skradinski buk, stopping at Visovac and passing through the Među gredama canyon. Boats to the Krka monastery also depart from Roški slap.
The park designates swimming areas part of the year; check the rules before you go.
