About Kalbarri Skywalk
The Kalbarri Skywalk is in Kalbarri National Park, about 35 km from the village. It consists of two metal platforms that extend over the rim of the Murchison River gorge, offering views of the red sandstone walls and the river about 100 meters below.
The Murchison gorge stretches for nearly 80 km and was carved by the river over millions of years. The sandstone layers, in red and white stripes, preserve marks of ancient waves and fossilized animal tracks.
The site has a small café, toilets and panels with art and stories of the Nanda Aboriginal people, the traditional owners of the area. An accessible boardwalk connects the parking area to the platforms.
Park entry is paid per vehicle; check the current rate table.
